High School Basketball officially starts Monday, November 11, 2013, with 5 Boys' Varsity games under the same roof.
The Rcs Sports' 5th Annual "Season Opener" presented by Legacy Sports Network will feature the nation's #1 team, Prime Prep Academy (Dallas) going head to head against Houston powerhouse, Jack Yates HS. That game will be sandwiched by a couple of highly anticipated public vs private school showdowns, involving four of Houston's top programs. Wheatley vs Westbury Christian and Bellaire vs St John's, featuring All American senior Justise Winslow.
The action tips off at 2:30 with Pearland Dawson battling Redemption Christian (RCHA) followed by Cypress Woods vs Aldine Eisenhower at 4pm.
